Strange, was just thinking of putting up the review when I saw your post

.
Hrithik has yet again proved that he is a brilliant actor. AFAIK, this is the third time when Hrithik has acted in a genre not well accepted by the Indian viewers (Koi Mil Gaya and Krishh being the first two) and proved his mettle. The movie is pretty long but you'll love watching it (some people felt it was slow). The on-screen romance between Hrithik and Ash has done wonders again(they *ed in Dhoom2 together). The fight scenes (esp the climax) are new (not the usual dishum-dishum) and good. Don't expect too much of action as it's majorly a romantic movie. Hats off to Ashutosh for yet another brilliant movie.
Finally, do not watch this movie for a history lesson or for lots of action.
And yeah, the movie has got its fair share of Bollywood masala with the customary beat-up-the-villain/get-the-girl/save-the-sister/avenge-the-friend or
mentor/senti-speech climax. However, it's all packed in beautifully. I for one loved watching JA.
