Something I like to do, wow!!

Departed, good movie, but not so good as to get the best director's oscars.
Blood Diamond, great, excellent performances by Leo and Dj. Djimon was my contendor for supporting actor.
In pursuit of happyness, nice, sweet and inspiring.
300, wow, excellent, all the effects and leonidi\as's performances, thought they went far too off while depicting the asians and M-Easterners, like bloody vicious and oddly shaped etc.
Shooter, ok movie, nothing new, nice action and style.
Norbit, yet funny again, Eddie's got game.
Wild hogs, a fine tease, funny at times, great to see travolta again.
Ghost Rider, nice comic adaptation, but nothing compared to Spider or Super-man.
Night At the Museum, great family flick, entertaining and different, though you get to think about Zumanji.
Happy Feet, cool as ice, cute, sweet, bring the whole family along.
Bridge to Terabithia, ok ok, not as expected, nothing to keep me glued.
Number 23, wierd, reminds me of Sin City, confusing and wasted, this is the only movie, I dint watch in full, could keep a movie freak interested.
The Last King of Scotland, the man did his job, 100% the award was his.
The Astronaut Farmer, ok ok, little inspiring, not too believable. But did remind me of my high school dreams.
Eragon, poor show, after harry and pirates and LOR, we expect much more and better.
Hills have Eyes 2, part one was better, same old BS.
Namesake, god I am still waiting to see it.

Just Married, sweet, but too crowded.
Namaste London, nice, Akki again on top and Kat rocked.
Honeymoon Travels, nice attempt, KK great, better than Just married, the super power guy-gal was tacky.
Guru, excellent performance, Abhi sure nomination.
Hattrick, not cricket again, I am just not into cricket, but Danny-Nana-Paresh were great.
Water, saw that last year, John over the top, how could Kareena say anything about him.
And there are so many, darn, I am tired. I could right so much on each...but...

Take it easy folks!
Rock on RM's

kailash.. looks like you have been watching a lot of movies lately.. done with the sememster already?

I remember watching 8-9 movies over 2 days period when I was down with the wrist pain (thanks to rungmung) and did not have to work over the weekend.. that was kinda fun..

about namaste london.. we went to jackson heights to watch this one.. if I was by myself I would have darted out of the hall as soon as I can... a guy couple of seats next to me seemed to enjoy the movie though.. he couldnt stop laughing on some of the lame hindi movie jokes that have been repeating since I dont know when... good for him... or like akshay kumar says in the movie... "Jyada picture nahin dekhte ho kya.." looks like he fell in that category..

Went to see PROVOKED a few days back. I did have quite a many other options like Shoooter, Perfect staranger and a few hindi releases. However, all i read in movie reviews, newspapers were appraisals of Aishwarya's improved acting and facial exressions. So, i decided to go in for it. The movie is based on the true story of a Bristish Sikh Kiranjit Ahluwalia who was a victim of domestic voilence. This was way back in 1989. Naveen Andrews( I am not sure of the name and spelling ) of LOST fame is playing the role of Kiranjit's husband in the movie.
The movie is slow-paced, with few events and portions seeming to be force-fitted. I guess a few good court scenes could have made the movie better. Aishwarya's all dull and gloomy and she doesn't speak much. The role of Naveen is also quite short. An ok movie overall.
Do pour in some suggestions for a good watch next week!!
