Learn..Learn and Learn

We toil; we learn. We idle; we learn. All the way we get the taste of life. I’ll be learning until I die. Today is fool’s day, and it is made for specially people like me who are fool. But I don’t feel to make any one fool because I’m the biggest fool in the Planet. As my earlier promise, publishing that blog (ups n downs) too.{Hope that you will follow that first comment.} I’m too lazy boy, I love to sleep but enough is enough, if we cross limits of something that becomes tedious. I learnt, “what is the life of a lame person?”; “what is boring when I’m having a lot of things to do?”; and..... But still believe that God is great, and yea God is great. I hope, new poll will be Kailash bro's "role of RKS" {I really want to know "what does RKS do?" because don't have any idea about role of RKS..again I'll be learning..:)}. Well, Njoy..!, make yourselves idiot and make others, CHEERS..! Happy April Fool..! All the Best..!..;)

Good signs...

Indian cricket team is back to salvage some of badly lost pride in mumbai. One inexplicable loss and another unexpected victory, i guess accounts are squared up. i was just going through the last poll results and found there are also some good signs in the results. How often do you speak the Rung-Lo? Always 16.38 % (19) Sometimes 27.59 % (32) Not as much as I want to 34.48 % (40) Very Little 13.79 % (16) Dont know the Lo 7.76 % (9) Total votes: 116 it shows that at least 92% people have still some touch with language and 50% people do have inclination to speak. hope younger generation realizes the value of own language and these percentages will improve a great deal more. the new map is coming out quite well and here we are really fortunate to have hemen bhai's expertise. we have a new section WIKI being installed soon, again hemen's idea. here potential is there to do great many things. Soon there will be AGM in Dharchula and i hope if any of our audience and participating members go to AGM, they would try and spread not only awareness but also get some offline participation from dharchula. Jhyangmothon is nearing as well. We have received some feedback on it. Many people do not see direct impact on society for this as yet. But as i was trying to discuss with people, the potential of event like jhyangmothon is far reaching in terms of providing today's youth at home some platform to chanelize their energy. the organizational skills that we would be able hone in this event and energy from this will help other events that can be offshoots and spin offs in future. this is not just a running event but an event which would bring the local community together on social level. The local organizations and non rung communities if made part of it and with initiative from rung mung...we can really make a beginning which would later help get collaboration from different segments of local society to initiate many self help efforts. And as i am typing this india needs 13 more in 22 balls with 4 wickets in hand ( quiet frankly i had sworn off indian cricket team a few weeks back :) )

Halosatho is searchable now.. one can search through first name, last name, city, country, profession, std codes and even phone numbers.. since the original data didnot have professions, searches on it might not return anything... to test I did add engineer to one of the data... hope others will be updated soon... the search results are sorted alphabetically according to their names (last name first)... working on adding and editing data online...

Ups & Downs

Read comment. I have written a blog (previous one) with lots of activities. But I couldn’t & can’t be a part of these all activities. I played a football match on March 17, 2006 (draw, played only 3/4th of full match). During the match I got an injury on my right leg (according to medical report-:- suspicious crack on right ankle and tear on ligament of right knee) and I’ll have to take a rest for at least 4 weeks because plaster is on my leg. Now bed, wheel chair and I are the fellow of each other, now crutches also. My eyes and ceiling fan & monitor, My back and mattress, My ear and old hindi melodies to hard Rock, My hand and fiction to keyboard n mouse. Don’t worry. I’m in okay type condition. Since most of my batch-mates are busy with model making work after that they come in the room and ask “CHIKKI:: KHANA AA GAYA NA, PANI HAI KI NAHI, TOILET TOH NAHI JANA HAI, KUCHH CHAHIYE HOGA TOH MISSED CALL MAAR DENA” Friends are taking care of me a lot, I am very much Thankful of my friends and missed call system. Can say--:-- these days are a little bit of bad luck days. Finally, My love and craziness about football is same as before. I still believe that God is always with me. No matter, I have got pause just because of football. And more or less, this is called life, just a little “Ups and Downs”, have to face a hundred of Good & Bad fortunes. After all, I’ll be in touch of some of my tasks, with Rung Dictionary work. :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Halo Satho online..

I have been busy off late.. but did squeeze in time to work on the halo satho.. wanted to do this a long time back but as you all know 'the to do things' list is just too long.. i guess its going to be one step at a time.. for now the data online is the old one.. kris hya had been trying to update it constantly.... once the new Halo satho is out we shall import the new data... for now lets see how this old one works out... tried to add details in hindi as well.. i always dread working with hindi fonts.. as they always get messed up.. and this time around hindi fonts are working fine on firefox but the microsofts internet explorer is puking gibberish texts.. will work on that later... will try and integrate halo satho with the present directory we have.. the directory by the way is integrated with the genealogy data.. so we will have the halo satho, online directory and the genealogy integrated... was trying to use ajax for the GUI part on halosatho but it turned out to be a pain and was infact pretty slow.. so had to scrap it off... For now the links from the halosatho to the genealogy wont work as it still needs some work... if one wants to see how it will work try looking for (kris hya) krishna rautela's record.. rest of them need to be linked.. that will be a lot of work... oh.. i forgot to mention that you would need kruti 010 fonts to view the hindi details.. you can download them here... http://www.rungmung.net/downloads/K010.ttf will see if they can be embedded like some of the other sections so that you dont have to download.. but for now u will need to.. so without further adieu here is the link to halosatho.. http://rungmung.net/halo-satho/ ... the names are alphabetically sorted.. last names first... so if you are looking for a Garbyal goto G... will add a search capability at a later stage... any suggestions are welcome... we might have to make this a private section.. any thoughts on this... peace.. p. s.: the nauksum project is still in progress... :)

One more thing swimming pool has opened though have to add this in my timetable..HeHeHe..;) Football tournament has started. We have a match tomorrow around 0600 hrs. And three weeks are left for Model Making Competition. But with these all, I’ll be entering in the chat room..:) Ciao..! Njoy..!

Today is International Women’s Day (From 1908(Minor) or 1910(Major)) "Happy Women's Day" Women are God’s most beautiful creation. Considering incident of yesterday (Twin blasts at Varanasi Cantt railway station), I can not imagine how much a mother would have got a shock. Let’s talk about Women, :) Women generally have a better memory than man for the spoken word. They have a higher rate of blood flow to some part of their brain, including those that controlling language. Women are also most likely to recall childhood memories, particularly if they are associated with emotion in themselves or in others. :) Women have superior skills in spelling, grammar, writing and verbal comprehension. They have more dopamine (a nerve transmitter) in the part of brain that controls language and more nerve cells in the side of brain that is more active in language. A few points taken from an article of Dr. Marianne Legato [A doctor and scientist—and Best selling Author] Though we get the result, Women never forget and Men never remember. :) Now time has come when Women have to mobilize themselves and take matters into their own hand. Therefore, please help us to enlarge vocabulary of Rung Mung Dictionary. I am expecting a good help from Female side. Don’t feel shy to email. And I guess, Male side should not have problem to help. Format is given below, have a look on picture(Left side Top). Here x=data {as per language e.g. for darma-lo x= लला(lalla)}. {To write in hindi, just click:: http://www.chhahari.com/unicode/ Use CAPS(key), to change alphabet. After writing in this webpage, click Copy All then paste in the message. If you are having any problem(related to hindi text), leave this.} Go through Ambu Da’s blog also. http://rungmung.net/Jooni/blogs/index.php?blog=6&title=rung_lo_dictionary&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1#feedbacks
