RYF aims to be a common platform where Rung Youths would associate with each other and contribute in the building of our Rung society through mutual interaction, cooperation and group action. We believe that the time to get ready for tomorrow is today. That's what our vision is all about. It is about creating a ‘Road map’ for our youth and assisting them in reaching similar destinations as planned by the RKS.

Vision

Our Road map starts with our mantra, which is endurance. It declares our purpose as an organization and serves as the standard against which we weigh our actions and decisions.Our Vision is :

• To Refresh the minds of the youth and safe guard our culture

• To become a reliable hub to provide solution to any problem of a Rung youth.

• To channelize the energies of youths in the best direction.

Mission

• To make every Rung youth aware about their roots, language and culture.

• To involve Rung youths to contribute in Rung society with their liberty of thought.

• To encourage Rung youths to conglomerate with each other personally and professionally.

• To work towards the overall betterment and upliftment of Rung Youth.

Objectives

• To initiate active involvement of youths in the social and cultural reconstruction.

• To initiate group action against social issues predominant in our society.

• To help fellow members in their hours of need, through group action among members.

• To promote young talents in the concerned area of their interests.

• Access to best possible information to our youth through career counseling and social network.

Our Strategy and Agendas

To promote at regular intervals for various activities/programs such as Cultural Nights, Community services, Sports, Youth Magazines, Social Gatherings, Debates, Workshops, Field Visits and Career Counseling.

Agenda for Financial Year 2011-12

• Publishing a Rung youth half yearly magazine. We expect to publish our first magazine by mid August.
• Career counseling at Dharchula.
• Cultural meet of Rung youths in summer or winter vacation.
